Sreepriya is an innovative thinker with a proven talent for developing support solutions for children and adults with Special Needs. Sreepriya has a master’s degree in Autism and has been working in the field of SEND for over 25 years. She has been the SENDCO in various Institutions over the last decade. She is a qualified Specialist teacher and Assessor having experience in assessing individuals from more than 30 nationalities. She is an expert advisor for Dyslexia, Access Arrangement and identification of SEN in International students. She is well experienced in supporting families and helping them access the service and support they need.
Michael Purches – Sr. Consultant
A former special head teacher of 19 years with a good record of change leadership. Currently, an education consultant specialising in SEND and inclusion. He works with single schools and with multi-school projects to identify common themes and challenges with regard to vulnerable/disadvantaged pupils, provide support and training across schools to find solutions, and agree on improvement actions. Successful school improvement partner, coach and mentor. Teacher trainer with a well-regarded university.
Vicki Tsamados – Sr. Consultant, Speech & Language Therapy
Vicki is an experienced Speech and Language Therapist with 19 years of experience supporting children’s communication. She has extensive experience in working with a range of paediatric communication difficulties and specialises in supporting children who stammer. She provides one-off assessments as well as on-going therapy sessions. She is trained to deliver Palin Parent-Child Interaction Therapy and Lidcombe therapy (stammering), Hanen It Takes Two to Talk and Hanen More Than Words. She is well-practiced in the Attention Autism approach and is ADOS trained (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) Vicki is a qualified ELKLAN tutor delivering training and intervention to families and/ or Early Years Settings.
Samantak Panda – Technology Partner
An entrepreneur, innovator, and seasoned product officer with vast experience in Product Management, Technology Consulting. He is passionate about advanced technologies like Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and many more. He is focused on making a social impact with the help of technologies. He has great ambition to disrupt Special Need education globally with the innovative AR/VR-enabled digital learning platform – TuTeck.He is driven by the core values of Equality and Inclusion and he is on the mission to make education available for all SEN students. He is a technology partner and advisor to BESS.
Lakshmi Gopalakrishnan – Clinical Psychologist
Lakshmi Gopalakrishnan is a certified Clinical Psychologist with over 13 years of experience, who believes in a holistic approach to the better mental health of her clients. She brings immense passion into her counselling; with sessions ranging from pediatric to geriatric in nature. Besides her counselling services, she regularly conducts workshops and seminars on a number of topics ranging from positive parenting, exam stress and stress management in general to name a few. Lakshmi is a regular face in television programmes related to the above-mentioned topics too. A Mphil degree in Clinical Psychology specialising in areas such as Clinical Assessments/ Psychometry, Counselling and Psychotherapy help her to actively pursue her passion in this field. In her view, unrealistic career aspirations, demands of a competitive world and the existence of peer pressure are stumbling blocks faced commonly by most people, these days. Lakshmi firmly believes that the role of a psychologist is an integral part of the well-being of any developing society and uses her expertise towards the betterment of the same.
